January 2006

Greetings Gwin fans!

First of all, we hope that everyone had a great holiday season and is looking forward to 2006 as much as we are! Below are some quick updates on Gwin Series 2 as well as a new project we are starting called Super Awesome Gwin Artist. Remember to check GwinArmy.com often for the latest news and to see what cool new stuff is available!

The SAGA begins…

The beginning of 2006 marks the beginning of a new Gwin project - Super Awesome Gwin Artist of the month (SAGA for short). Each month in 2006, GwinArmy.com will feature a different artist and offer four custom Gwins from that artist! Two of the customs will be sold through the website and the other two customs will be auctioned off on eBay. The proceeds from the auctions will be donated to a charity of the artists’ choice. Check www.GwinArmy.com often see the latest available customs!

January SAGA…

January is kicking off with Super Awesome Gwin Artist Christie of bastet2329.com, a self proclaimed outside artist with a passion for Halloween, Disneyland, and Elvis. She is the creative force behind some of the most macabre dolls you've ever seen. These creepy creations coupled with the variety of unique paintings she produces set Christie apart as an amazing and versatile artist. The proceeds from her auctioned Gwins will be donated to the Red Cross.

Check out her first two custom Gwins, Takin Care of Gwin Business and Sister Marie Gwin, now at www.GwinArmy.com!

Gwin: Series 2 Update…

We are underway with the anxiously awaited Gwin: Series 2. We expect them to be available early this Summer and should have them at San Diego Comic-Con. We’ll be posting a list of the Series 2 artists very soon on the website, so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks again for supporting October Toys and we look forward to sharing an awesome year with you!
